La Maison Post Pandemic
Twelve months along from our relaunch and we are only now beginning to emerge from the Global Covid Pandemic! We thought surviving a global recession in our first five years was pretty incredible, little did we think our little business would be faced with a global pandemic in our fifteenth year!
Well, fear not, La Maison like every family, community and business has adapted to a new way of working. And now that things are starting to settle we thought we would update on the changes which will remain for us!
Firstly, we will remain an Appointment Only Service. We have found operating an appointment system means we have more time for each Client and in turn, our Clients have told us they enjoy having dedicated time with us! To manage appointments efficiently we ask that you email us at [email protected] with some brief information and we will slot you in as early as we can. At present we are booking one month ahead.
Fabric Only Appointments. If you wish to look at curtain, blind or upholstery fabrics, email us for a free 30 Minute appointment, bring along your measurements and we can begin the process for you. This service is free of charge and strictly limited to 30 minutes.
Interior Design Appointments. If you wish to design a room, extension or new build, email us for a 1 Hour Studio Consultation €75 or a 1.5 Hour Home Consultation €250 plus travel and we will book you in with our Team as soon as possible.
Consultations are also available by Zoom.
Secondly, we are experiencing some delays in both stock and delivery of fabrics due to Brexit. As such, we are advising Clients to book early for curtains and blind orders. Our normal lead times would be four to five weeks but we are now advising six to eight weeks. Our Christmas cut off is usually the end of October, but we were fully booked for Christmas 2021 at the end of August!! We have been working 12-14 weeks ahead for the last few months, such is the demand. So our advice is book as early as you can!
Thirdly, as we are so busy this Autumn we will not be running our Interior Design Classes for the rest of this year. However, we are working on something very exciting in this department so stay tuned and we will update you as soon as we can!!
